NARMC'S Mediquick expanding services - Harrison Daily
Staff Report news@harrisondaily.com
For more than 22 years, Mediquick has served and met the needs of the community. In 2013, North Arkansas Regional Medical Center purchased the Millennium Medical Clinic, LLC and added over eight physicians including Mediquick to the NARMC Staff.
Now, ten years later, NARMC is expanding the services to meet the needs of our patients even more. There will now be two Urgent Care locations available for the community and surrounding areas which will be located south of Harrison in Bellefonte (Opening Thursday, Feb. 23 at 10 a.m.) and north Harrison located in the new theMed plaza (formerly the Bear State Bank building) opening this Spring. Regular business hours will be Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-7p.m. and Saturday-Sunday 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Both of the urgent cares are a good option when your doctor is not available and your condition requires immediate care, but is not life threatening. Conditions may include: minor abdominal pain, burns, cuts requiring stitches, flu, fractures and sprains, nausea and diarrhea, rashes and hives, work-related injuries, minor injuries and conditions that cannot wait for an available appointment with your doctor. Also, no appointment is needed at an urgent care facility.
Due to the growth of our Internal Medicine Clinic, the entire bottom floor of the Millennium Medical Clinic, LLC will now belong to Internal Medicine. All urgent care needs will need to visit theMed Urgent Care South at 4318 Hwy 65 South in Bellefonte (across from Harps Grocery) and the North location which will be open soon.
For more information, call theMed Urgent Care clinic at 414-4040.
